01 / THE BUSINESS BEHIND THE DESIGN

Amanda had a clear idea
of what quality should look like.

Eastside combines permanent makeup and body sculpting across two studios, with a separate training offer for artists. The website had to make those choices understandable while expressing the care behind the work.

Amanda’s direction called for a clean, upscale studio aesthetic. The approved design foundation favored soft neutrals and slate, with space for treatment imagery and a calm editorial voice. That preference shaped the page system.

We carried the design into the decisions each page asks a visitor to make. The homepage introduces the studio. A local service page answers a more specific need. The founder story explains the person behind the standard. Each has a distinct role.

About the screenshots and comparison

The original site was captured on September 24, 2026; the redesigned public site was captured on September 25. Preview images use unretouched top-of-page crops. Desktop previews show the upper-left 1440 × 1000 pixels; the older full-page archive is 2038 pixels wide and does not record its original browser viewport. These are content and design comparisons, not pixel-matched viewport tests. The full-page views preserve the captured content. Mobile previews use upper-left 390 × 844 crops. Several page URLs changed as the structure changed.

The screenshots show website design, including the client’s own treatment imagery and copy. They are not evidence of clinical outcomes or a measured change in traffic, bookings or revenue.

03 / BUILT FOR DISCOVERY

A search strategy
you can see in the site.

People arrive with different questions. The structure gives those questions a relevant destination and a useful way forward.

Search engine optimization (SEO) begins with pages that make the service, location and purpose clear. Answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) extend that discipline to content people encounter through AI answers.

Eastside’s structure connects studio hubs with service pages, comparison content and the Journal. The examples below show how the content supports different visitor intentions.

Make the studio choice explicit.

The booking section provides separate studio choices and an external booking fallback. The recommendation form is a separate option. The two routes reflect different levels of readiness and keep the location decision visible.

WHAT THE PUBLIC PAGE AUDIT FOUND

The underlying page information matters, too.

The nine inspected content pages returned successful responses, declared their current public canonical URLs and allowed indexing. Their structured data included page-specific types such as Service, LocalBusiness, Person, Article and BreadcrumbList.

That gives machines explicit descriptions of the business and content.

THE EDUCATION LAYER

Help someone understand
before asking them to choose.

A person researching how long microblading lasts has a different question from someone looking for an appointment in Bellevue. Both deserve a useful page.

The Journal groups treatment education into recognizable topics. Dedicated service and comparison pages provide the next level of detail. This gives Eastside room to build search coverage around the decisions its clients make.

The nano-versus-microblading structure is a useful example. The names people search remain visible, while the site can explain the alternatives and invite a personal recommendation.

FROM DESIGN TO DEVELOPMENT

A page system
the business can build on.

The production site uses WordPress and Bricks. The page plan defined reusable patterns for services, local hubs, comparisons, editorial content and conversion pages. Shared navigation keeps the site connected as each page addresses a different need.

Development also includes the routes people already know. Four sampled legacy URLs returned permanent redirects on September 25. Those redirects carry visitors from familiar addresses to the relevant new pages.

04 / BUILT FOR THE NEXT STEP

Conversion starts
with the decision.

Conversion rate optimization (CRO) shapes what visitors see, what they need to understand, and how they proceed.

Eastside’s new structure respects two different kinds of readiness.

A

Help me choose.

A recommendation route asks for a first name, phone number, studio and treatment interest. “Brows, help me choose” lets someone describe the need without selecting the technique.

4 fields to start → A personal recommendation
B

I’m ready to book.

A separate booking route lets the visitor choose Bellevue or Scottsdale and open the studio’s Square appointment flow. The page explains that a recommendation request does not reserve an appointment.

Guidance and booking have their own routes on the same page.
01

Match the page to the need.

Service and studio appear together in the local page headline and its next-step links.

02

Make the work inspectable.

Treatment imagery and client work give the visitor something concrete to evaluate.

03

Process sections and FAQs answer practical questions before the visitor commits.

04

Keep the location in context.

Studio-specific links carry Bellevue or Scottsdale into the recommendation and booking page.

05 / THE PHONE EXPERIENCE

The same decisions,

Service browsing, evidence and the next action need to remain understandable when the site fits in a hand. The new mobile navigation groups the offer by what the visitor wants to do, with booking and calling close by.

06 / WHAT THIS WORK PROVES

A stronger foundation.
A clear measurement plan.

The visible result is a rebuilt website with a coherent design system, explicit service and studio routes, and conversion choices embedded in its structure.

The commercial question now is how well that structure attracts and converts the right visitors. The next measurement window needs to connect discovery to qualified enquiries and bookings, by service and studio.

Source record & technical scope

Prepared September 25, 2026 by ROI.LIVE. Project direction comes from the Eastside8 design foundation, the page-template plan and the documented brand system. The full claim and asset register is retained with the project evidence.

Before screenshots come from the original-site archive captured September 24. After screenshots and HTML observations come from the public Eastside domain on September 25. All screenshot edits are limited to crop, resize and format conversion. Full-page images retain the original page content.

The nine-page technical sample covered the homepage, Bellevue microblading, Bellevue lip blushing, Scottsdale studio, About, consultation, Journal, nano comparison and longevity article. JSON-LD parsed on the sample; its presence does not mean every claim or rich-result eligibility condition has been validated. The audit found robots.txt and a sitemap endpoint; llms.txt returned 404. Google does not require a special AI text file for its AI search features.

BEFORE YOUR OWN REDESIGN

A few practical
questions.

What the work includes,
what it can prove, and where to start.

What did ROI.LIVE design and build for Eastside?

The project connects the visual system with service pages, studio hubs, editorial content and conversion routes in WordPress using Bricks. This case study shows seven page comparisons and explains the observed search and booking architecture. The evidence covers design and implementation.

How do you keep a redesign true to the business?

Start with the owner’s design references and the way the business wants to present its work. For Eastside, the brief called for a clean, upscale studio aesthetic. The resulting system uses slate and soft neutrals, editorial typography, treatment imagery and a clear role for Amanda’s voice.

What does SEO, AEO and GEO mean for a website project?

SEO helps search engines discover and understand a site. AEO and GEO focus on making its information useful within answer and generative search experiences. Here, the foundation includes service-and-city pages, connected explanations, clear business identities and structured data. None guarantees a ranking or an AI citation.

Is conversion optimization included in the structure?

Yes. Eastside’s layout includes treatment proof, answers to decision questions, studio-specific routes and separate options for guidance and booking. Those are design decisions intended to help conversion. Measured improvement requires tracking, sufficient traffic and testing after launch.

Can you show traffic or booking growth from this redesign?

Not yet. The screenshots document the original site on September 24 and the public rebuilt site on September 25, 2026. There is no comparable post-launch measurement window in this case study. The next evidence should connect qualified enquiries and bookings to service, studio and source.
